This has got to be the cutest rattle. If I was a baby, I would totally dig it. In fact, I dig it as an adult! The colors are very vibrant, the wood is so smooth, the wooden leaves make an awesome yet soothing clacking noise, the felt birdie and berry have a nubby texture that is fun to touch, and the durable strings at the bottom are fun to yank on. This is an incredibly well-made rattle. Highly recommended. Not some cheap junk that will break in a few months. It’s made to last a really long time!

I love this toy. I love how it looks, I love the quality, I love the gender-neutral/natural theme, and I love that it is made from wood. My baby, however, is not that into it. He might look at it for about 2 minutes. So I had to give it 4 stars, AND because it should not be called a rattle. If you shake it one of the heavy wood leaves hits you in the hand, and nothing on it makes any noise. Luckily my baby is not a shaker of toys.

I ordered this for my 6 month old baby. It is super cute and looks more natural and substantial than most cheap flimsy rattles. She chews on the fabric and likes to noisily bang the wooden part because she likes the noise. It is made in China and the leaves are colored so I am praying they are stained w/ nontoxic materials. (it is more of a stain than paint – the wood grain shows thru). Anyway, the are very sturdy and wouldn’t mind having a few of the others.

This thing is cute. I think for smaller ages like my son whos 4 months old its fine.. because all he tries to do is suck on it.. but once they get a little older and start to actually shake it, OUCH. I tried it to make sure it was safe.. Its not the leaves will hit your hands and whatever other body part on your child and it hurts.. alot.
Very hard and theyre too long.
So if thyre only in the, I want to try eat everything in site stage its fine.. but once they start to shake things, id just not let them play with it anymore.

I bought this toy for my little one, as I like the fact that it was wooden, and looked like a tree. But it is definitely too big and too heavy for his little hand. The two wooden leaf are really getting on the way and he tends to knock himself with them. I think they were supposed to make a sounds when knocking each other, but it doesn’t.
My older kid (which would be big enough to carry this heavy rattle) don’t find any interest in it..
So overall.. really useless..
