Bottom line is it is a video monitor that works well and puts a parents mind at ease. Video quality is great and the audio is GREAT-better than the audio only monitors. Yes the blue light on the PARENT unit blinks when charging but so what. Tape over it if it bothers you that much. The ONLY negative I see is that the battery indicator does not indicate how much juice is left. It starts beeping when almost empty so you have to get it plugged in pretty fast. This wouldn’t stop me from buying it again though. I am very happy with my purchase. Glad I went with it over the Summer Infant non-digital model.

Up until our daughter moved into a toddler bed we used a basic audio monitor. When it was time for the big move we were determined to find a video monitor to help give us a peace of mind with her new freedom! We have been using this monitor for about 2 months and love it! The picture is outstanding and the audio is perfect with no crackles or pops (had that a lot with the basic audio monitor previously used)
Bad things include short battery life after charging and the blue light on the handheld part is a little bright during the night.
Other than those things this monitor was a great buy for the price and quality.

I absolutely love this monitor! My Sony Baby Call monitor was giving me so much static, interference and beeping noises that I had to find something else. I found out my cable company runs on the same 900 mHz frequency as the Sony monitor, so I decided to buy a digital monitor. I also wanted to peace of mind to see my daughter in her crib. What a difference!! The clarity of sound is so clear, and the screen is plenty big to see my daughter. I also like being able to turn the video screen off, but still keep the sound on when I go to sleep. The only negative I can think of, is that the blue light on the part with the camera is pretty bright in the crib, so I just taped a piece of cardboard over it. No problem! This monitor is worth every penny!!!

I purchased this monitor as a replacement for a different brand I’d had for 2 years. I settled on this one for a replacement and I’m so glad I did. Great clarity, both video and sound (my old one had great video but the audio was horrible). I have a 4,000 sqft 3 level home and I’ve had no problems with range at all. The battery only lasts about 2 hours but that’s fine with me as I usually have it plugged in anyway. My only con would be the bright blue lights on the front of both the camera and monitor.

My wife and I tried the Levana video monitor prior to this and returned the Levana almost immediately. This monitor is very easy to use, very reliable, provides great sound and video, and both parts have rechargeable batteries. Highly recommend this product.
